Things to keep in mind about icon design:
* The icon should be simple, but distinct.
* The icon should be recognizable even at very small sizes.
* Grayscale or single-tone designs are preferrable, as they can easily be colourised and adapted to fit any background and context, unlike coloured variants.
* The amount of shapes should be minimised to aid the above points.
I'm afraid my Japanese is not good enough to translate all of this, and I apologise for any mistakes I made in what little I did translate.</p>
