The night was icy cold. Thousands of tiny lights were sprinkled throughout the clear sky. They almost looked like little snowflakes, glistening in the moonlight. She could feel the cold piercing her skin, reaching her bones. By now she was used to the sensation. She had spent many a night without shelter under this starry sky, wandering the depths of the unknown. She was looking for something. Something… that she had already forgotten. It didn’t matter now, all that was left was the road ahead. The lights started to flicker out, and the sky started to lighten up. The woman got up. Her weary eyes gazed towards the horizon where, behind a thick layer of trees, the sun would soon start to rise. The warm sunlight tickled her worn skin and a faint grin crept across her face. “And on it goes,” she thought to herself, getting ready to depart.
